Hardware¶

Drone Grid has been tested with only one hardware configuration as of today, although there have been many successful flights with that single configuration :) In theory, the system should work with other companion computers and other Pixhawk flight controllers running PX4 (this is one of the many project goals) — this, of course, needs to be tested thoroughly.

Each configuration contains the components used, setup instructions and recommendations. Companions may later be extracted into separate configurations of their own if they can be reused across drone platforms. For now everything is in one document for simplicity.
